What about the ISU library doesn’t make sense? Is it the fact that there are fake floors that actually have the books, or the part that we don’t actually USE the books in the library? Wait…. ARE there books in the library!?

If it’s what you feel Called to do, then do it.

As I’m preparing for my next film project, I’ve been dealing with the same struggle: there’s so much to worry about! (especially the fundraising!) That’s where faith comes in – faith that God will make it all work out, even when we can’t see the destination or all the steps between here and there. All we can do is take the first step. Then another, and so on. A journey of 1000 miles, that kind of thing. Looking at the whole journey, oh man, daunting!! Looking at step 1, hm, maybe it’s manageable after all?

One last thought: “If God is for us, who can be against us?” If God is calling you to go on this trip, He’ll help deal with the details.

Not everyone is thinking marketplace economies when they use the word OFFER. Sometimes it’s viewed like an offering to God. Not like a deal.

Definitely. I think its hard to trust that ripples are being created when all you can see is that small pebble sinking to the bottom of the pond. But I guess thats exactly what it comes down to: trust. And sometimes recklessness. Doing things, without having a perfect reason why or a reasonable guess that everything will turn out for the best. Just jumping and not worrying about where you’ll go once you land.
