I’m in the kitchen this week. Cooking your food. Unexpected? Absolutely. Enjoyable? Actually, yes. Everything this summer has been completely unexpected and yet has nearly always turned out to be wonderful. Day camps. CCC. Week 2 first timers. Week 7 campers. Kitchen. Mime. Lots of things have been coming up this summer that I never expected and frankly, right away, I’m usually pissed off about it. Being on day camp. I was pissed. Until it happened. Then it was one of the greatest weeks of my life. Lots of other similar things.  Things that at first glance seem really inconvenient, frustrating, or just generally not what I had planned or what I wanted. Then things turn out well.  Better than I could have imagined. Thanks God.

I feel like lately a lot of the time, I don’t know whats going on. And I don’t really mind anymore. I’ll take things as they come. Live in the moment. Thanks CCC.
